The quiet and remote countryside location, view of the mountains, close to the fjord and beach. The property and staff are wonderful. I would stay here again the next time I visit the Westfjords.

Set in Hólmavík, Hótel Laugarhóll with natural hot spring has a garden, shared lounge, restaurant, and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the hotel, each room comes with a desk. The swimming pool is just perfect. The natural springs next to it were an attraction on its own. So nice you can stay at this place. The diner was also very good. A lot of options to choose and you could take as much as you want.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Hótel Djúpavík offers accommodation in Djupavik. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Krossneslaug Public Swimming Pool is 37 km away. What a place to stay, it was definitely worth it! But remember you have to drive 46 km by gravel road to get there. We drove a city car Ford Fiesta (without 4x4) and we've done it! Going there by such a car, you should count around 1,5 h one way. But with these views and sense that you are in the middle of nowhere, it was such a positive thrilled adventure :) For us this town Djúpavík with a Hotel Djúpavík was the best thing, which we came across in the whole Western Fiords. Definitely worth visiting!!

It was a nice surprise, the position, the breakfast and the location itself made our stay an incredible experience. Definitely recommended. The staff was super warm and helpful, Takk Fyrir!
