The town was quaint and full of history and character, very narrow streets not good for driving. The Pubs (Ship Inn) was excellent including the food if a bit pricey. The restaurants were excellent (Salamander and Polkirk One )Not cheap but good value for money. Very hilly trying to get out of town centre if you're old or athsmatic.Don't book a hotel up Polkirk Hill it's very steep.

Lovely little village and well worth a visit!
Lovely little village and well worth a visit! It has several really good pubs and restaurants. We’ve only ever been in October but I’m sure it would be lovely during the summer! Driving through the village if you need to get to accommodation up the hill can sometimes be a challenge. Just take it slow and not be in a hurry!

Picturesque harbour village, plenty of places to eat out if you book early, the Salamander was our favourite. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Lovely to walk around very narrow streets. Brilliant little coves and beaches nearby, along coastal path walks.

Lower Barns is a gem! A lovely setting carefully curated by two wonderful hosts, Janie and Mike. I stayed after walking 7 days on the South West Coast Path and it was a magical spot to relax and absorb the unique beauty of Cornwall.
The room was cozy, vibrant and well accomodated. Loved the giant tub & comfy bed! Breakfast was delicious and the beautiful, unique grounds made for good wandering. Thanks for a wonderful stay -wish I could have stayed longer!!

Lovely hotel with large well appointed rooms and beautifully furnished and benefits from a great pool area. Food is delicious with a really good selection at breakfast. We had dinner a few times and the meals were all excellent. What makes the Tremarne stand out from other places we have stayed is the wonderful staff who were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble and they were always smiling

Fran, the owner of the the property, was an excellent host who went out of her way to ensure that my stay was a pleasant one. The common areas of the accommodation and the room I was in were spotless and very comfortable. I would definitely stay at Stone's Throw again if I ever return to Mevagissey. I would highly recommend Stone's Throw to anyone who wants to stay in Mevagissey.
The Property is set in the most idillic location of Cornwall, Close to mevagissey’s coast it is a prime spot to relax and unwind for a few days. The Property itself is stunning, you can clearly see how much hard work that the owners have put in over the years. Situated between valleys and rolling fields makes this stay the most tranquil spot I have personally visited.
The home is a 300 yr old mill house located on a narrow lane in Cornwall, close to Truro and St Austell. The property has been fully upgraded to modern standards and reflects the pursuit of quality by the owners, Denise and Vic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique and beautiful home. Denise and Vic are talented inn keepers and a real joy to get to know.
Loved the location, beautiful view from the room, balcony and breakfast room and only a 5 minute walk into Mevagissey. The breakfast was delicious with lovely fresh locally produced ingredients. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins from afar, there were even binoculars available in the room 😀
The location was great, close to all amenities after a small walk. The accommodation was spot on, clean and functional. Parking was available with good signage to the site. Breakfast was continental and presented by the owners every morning. The owners are nice and very knowledgeable about the local area.
Very up to date with facilities good quality bed and very well laid out property. Set in the town so no driving around to do,restaurants all in walking distance.
Parking included in the price at a local car park near by which is a nice touch.
The view was stunning, breakfast was absolutely superb the Trevalsa Court Hotel is beautiful, lovely walk down to the beach and nearby to the Mevagissey, which we walked down to and enjoyed.
This is an absolute gem in the South West.
The location was very central within Mevagissey, which is a very pretty village. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The hosts Gareth and Lara were super helpful and kind. Breakfast was very good and there was free parking.
I loved everything, the staff, location and the service was impeccable. I can’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed and chilled out so I am so very thankful to mevagissey bay hotel for making my weekend perfect
Home from home experience, the hoists are very chatty, friendly and helpful. And also good guides to the area.
Easy access to this area of Cornwall and to the town and harbour
Great view and a great location. PIty there is only bar snacks available in the evening as restaurants in Mevagissey are booked up a long time in advance.
